If you are a parent or guardian of a minor receiving services, please refer to the "Children's Privacy" section below.  This policy is effective as of August 28, 2025 and may be updated.

  • Limited access to client information within our practice

  • Staff training on HIPAA and confidentiality protocols

Please note: Email is not a secure method for sharing sensitive health information. Please use the client portal or call us for confidential matters.

 

Telehealth

We offer telehealth services using a HIPAA-compliant video platform integrated with our EHR. All sessions are encrypted and not recorded unless expressly permitted and documented.

Working with Minors

We provide therapy services to children and adolescents under 18. We require parental or legal guardian consent before initiating services for minors. Information shared by minors during therapy is kept confidential, with exceptions in cases of:

  • Risk of harm to self or others

  • Suspected abuse or neglect

  • Legal requirements for disclosure
